It takes a village!
The Newcomb PTSA offers many opportunities, in person or remote, to show up for our Spartans. You can chair/support an event, join the board, contribute a unique talent or skill, or volunteer an hour of your time on the day of the event. Anyone can get involved: parents, caregivers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, community members; we all have something valuable to share with our community.
VIPS volunteer on campus during school hours. You must be cleared by LBUSD in a simple process involving a Tuberculosis test and an online application.
Room Coordinators (or "room parents") organize class volunteers and activities, support teachers with classroom needs, and help share information between teachers, families, and PTSA.
We are proud of the events we host and programs we sponsor at Newcomb, but it takes a lot of volunteer time to pull those off. Let us know if you can help!
